A fire broke out on Friday at an apartment complex in Gaylord.

The fire occurred around 3pm at Sheldon Place Apartments in Gaylord. Fire crews are not sure what caused the fire to break out in a second story unit. Everyone was evacuated safely from the builiding. Residents were later allowed back in the complex except for those living in two units. Both of these units suffered substantial water damage.
