Saints March Out of Miami With Superbowl Win PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 08 February 2010
The Saints came back from a 10-0 deficit and won 31-17 clinching their first Superbowl victory. Quarterback Drew Brees completed 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and was named MVP.  Bree's 32 completions tied a previous Superbowl record set by Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.  Tracy Porter took advantage of a rare opportunity to intercept a pass from Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and sprinted 74 yards for a touchdown with 3:12 left in the game.  This was the Saints first appearance in the Superbowl and their first win in the history of their franchise.
