Firefighters Batte Blaze at Historic Boyne Valley Home
Firefighters from the Boyne Valley Township were dispatched to the home of Kathryn Kircher on Friday afternoon at 5:40pm. According to The Petoskey News Review, flames were visible through the roof near one of the three chimeys in the home when firefighters arrived on the scene. Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are yet to be released. The home is located on the banks of the Boyne River was built by Everett Kircher, the founder of Boyne Mountain.
