The Charlevoix Public Schools District Superintendent Chet Janik may be retiring from his position to take a county administrator positon in Leelanau County.   Janik met with county officials from Leelanau last Tuesday to discuss terms of a contract.  Janik is expected to make the decision on whether or not to take the new position this week.  He has been Charlevoix's District Superintendent since June of 2007.
