Northern Michigan Hospital Achieves More Recognition

A Northern Michigan Hospital has achieved more recognition, this time with their Nursing staff. Northern Michigan Regional Hospital was awarded Magnet status Wednesday. The recognition is given by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center to any hospital that achieves a set of criteria that measures the strength and quality of their nurses. Just 6.6 percent of hospitals across the company have reached this status. Studies shoe that hospitals achieving this status have excellent patient results, nurses with a high level of job satisfaction, and low turnover rates.
